Your Responsibilities
Develop Python backend applications using frameworks such as Django, Flask, and FastAPI
Design and implement AI-driven features, including embeddings, vector search, and semantic search
Create, maintain, and optimize REST APIs
Automate backend workflows through Jenkins pipelines
Optimize SQL databases for performance, reliability, and scalability
Ensure overall system stability and high availability
Collaborate closely with AI, frontend, and product teams based in Düsseldorf
Participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews, and team discussions
Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving the technology stack and development processes
Your Profile
Degree or equivalent experience in Software Engineering or Computer Science
Python backend development experience is a bonus
Knowledge of AI/ML concepts
REST API, CI/CD (Jenkins), SQL experience
Docker is a plus
Git proficiency
Fluent in English; German is optional
Excited about building AI-powered backend systems
