TOP JOB IN A TECH START-UP

Windows and Linux are both part of your world?

Hands-on instead of corporate red tape?

Looking for real ownership, short decision-making paths and a tech start-up where you can actually make an impact?

We are a recruitment agency supporting our client in filling this position.

We are looking for an IT System Administrator Windows & Linux (m/f/d) for a permanent, full-time position directly with the company.

No temporary employment. No contracting model.

What you’ll be working on

  • approx. 60% Windows administration
  • approx. 40% Linux administration
  • Microsoft Intune & Device Management
  • Active Directory
  • Linux workstations & monitoring
  • Second-Level Support
  • network & firewall administration
  • virtualization with Proxmox or comparable platforms
  • server hardware & deployment
  • building, improving and streamlining internal IT processes

What makes you a great fit

Ideally, you already bring around 5–6 years of experience in an IT system house, managed services environment or similarly broad infrastructure role.

You know different systems, can troubleshoot quickly and prefer taking ownership instead of waiting for someone else to solve the issue.

But this is not only about years of experience.

If you gained strong hands-on experience during university, through working student roles, side projects or your own infrastructure projects, learn extremely quickly and are simply a very sharp technical mind, we definitely want to hear from you as well.

What matters most:

  • real hands-on experience with Windows and Linux
  • Intune and Active Directory
  • solid networking knowledge
  • virtualization experience
  • very good English
  • ownership and initiative
  • fast learning ability
  • genuine start-up mentality

Experience with Ansible, Proxmox, GPU Passthrough or Azure is a strong plus.

Working model

  • hybrid and flexible
  • ideally more on-site during onboarding
  • significantly more flexibility once you are fully up to speed
  • company language: English
  • German is not required
  • start: as soon as possible or by arrangement

What you can expect

  • trust-based working culture
  • short decision-making paths
  • informal and approachable culture
  • genuine start-up mentality
  • lots of ownership and freedom to shape things
  • friendly, close-knit team atmosphere
  • team running sessions
  • regular team events
  • attractive compensation
  • barista on-site regularly
  • hybrid and flexible working
  • direct communication across the team
  • modern working environment
  • international company culture
