What You’ll Do
Develop Python backend applications using Django, Flask, or FastAPI
Design and implement AI-powered features, including embeddings, vector search, and semantic search
Create, maintain, and optimize REST APIs
Automate backend workflows via Jenkins pipelines
Optimize SQL databases for performance, reliability, and scalability
Ensure system stability and high availability
Collaborate closely with AI, frontend, and product teams in Düsseldorf
Participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews, and team discussions
Contribute to initiatives that improve our tech stack and development processes
What You Bring
Studying Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Python backend experience is a plus
Knowledge of AI/ML concepts
Experience with REST API, CI/CD (Jenkins), SQL
Familiarity with Docker is a bonus
Git proficiency
Fluent English (German optional)
Passion for building AI-powered backend systems
