Siemens Fonds Invest GmbH has been managing assets in specialized investment funds and comparable mandates for over 30 years – including the pension funds of the Siemens Group. Since 1999, we have also been offering actively managed mutual funds for private investments. Currently, with a team of approximately 40 employees, we manage assets totaling around €22 billion across asset classes such as equities, government and corporate bonds, and private equity. Our clientele includes not only Siemens AG and affiliated companies but also renowned corporations, foundations, and other institutional investors.

As Senior Institutional Sales (f/m/d) in Munich, you’ll be part of the Client Relationship Management Team that serves all customer segments. You´ll take charge of acquiring and cultivating institutional clients, shaping our growth strategy, and using your network to open new doors. Tasks

This will be your impact.

  • You independently identify and acquire institutional clients across various segments, demonstrating your extensive network to initiate new business opportunities
  • Subsequently, you guide mandate onboarding processes and provide ongoing client support, ensuring seamless communication and exceptional service delivery
  • In addition, you manage placement agents and other multipliers, strategically coordinating their activities to increase outreach and effectiveness
  • You represent the company at industry events, actively enhancing our market presence and fostering relationships with key decision-makers
  • Finally, you contribute to the further development and implementation of the SFI growth strategy, collaborating closely with your goal-oriented sales team to drive sustainable success

Profile

Your toolkit for success.

Education:

  • Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • Alternatively, a completed apprenticeship in Banking (e.g., Bank Clerk or Investment Funds Specialist) accompanied by significant professional experience in institutional sales or asset management

Experience and Skills:

  • Longterm professional experience of successful sales experience with public and private market assets to institutional clients
  • Strong network and broad contacts in various institutional segments, especially with corporates, pension funds, and foundations
  • Proven expertise in capital markets, AIFs/special funds, and financial portfolio management as well as in regulatory framework
  • Experience with wholesale clients or family offices highly welcome

Ways of Working: You demonstrate a persistent and independent working style, with excellent presentation and negotiation skills and a dedication to creating impact

Languages: Excellent command of written and spoken English and German

Business Travel: This position requires flexibility for business travel, with approximately one client visit on-site per week
