Responsabilities
The Search Ads Ops team is dedicated to evaluating and optimising search algorithms within search ads. Our team conducts thorough evaluations and investigations to ensure optimal performance and accuracy. Additionally, we manage labelling projects to train and refine our models, aiming to improve the relevance and effectiveness of search ads. Our goal is to drive revenue growth while maintaining a high-quality user experience, balancing commercial objectives with user satisfaction. We strive to deliver superior search ads solutions through continuous innovation and meticulous analysis.
What will I be doing:
- Conduct quality inspection of various data sets and projects, ensuring it meets project requirements, and maintain timely delivery of QA cases.
- Demonstrate exceptional judgment in resolving ambiguous cases and provide timely feedback, identifying potential risks and suggesting improvements.
- Prioritize quality, safety and integrity of content, closely monitor business progress, and contribute to product function optimization iterations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize relevant policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs), supporting training and clarification processes to ensure accurate understanding and data delivery.
- Facilitate calibration meetings with teams involved during appeal processes, analyze cases, offer solutions, and suggestions to enhance team performance, accuracy and alignment towards project targets.
- Data Delivery for project metrics, provide data analysis, root cause analysis (RCA), and action plans during project performance review meetings, Business reviews (WBR's, QBR's and etc.)
- Undertake additional compatible and related responsibilities as required by the project, including but not limited to: policy localization, internal and external training support, data inspection, calibration meetings, and and strategy evaluation.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Fluent in German is required as the role requires communication with German markets, fluent in English is also required as it is the working language.
- Have QA experience in moderation projects or equivalent, market knowledge, understanding of local culture and internet usage habits of target markets.
- In-depth knowledge of search engines and familiarity with social media platforms.
- Flexibility to work on projects outside of core expertise as needed and ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
- Familiarity with online shopping-related businesses and search trends is desirable.
- Ability to work on potentially variable shift patterns, including weekends, evenings, and nights, ensuring availability for five out of any seven days per week.
- Willingness to work with sensitive and potentially disturbing content.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and above or equivalent.
- Strong analytical skills including data analytics, learning ability, problem-solving skills, adaptability and attention to detail.
- Proficient in common productivity software (eg. Office Suite, Google Workspace, etc). - Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in multiple locations and timezones.
