Tasks
To support the continued growth of the IT function, an opportunity has arisen for a Team Lead – SAP Business Applications. This role combines both technical and people leadership, overseeing a team of SAP consultants and developers. You will be responsible for driving change initiatives, setting priorities, and delivering robust SAP solutions aligned with business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Provide both disciplinary and functional leadership, mentoring, and development of the SAP team
Shape and evolve the SAP architecture within the broader IT landscape
Oversee the enhancement, support, and maintenance of the SAP environment (including S/4HANA, cloud solutions, add-ons, and interfaces)
Partner with business units and regional entities to optimise and standardise processes using SAP capabilities
Analyse, assess, and implement business requirements in collaboration with internal stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners
Manage relationships with third-party consultants and service providers
Profile
Degree in computer science, business informatics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Proven experience in leading and managing teams, both from a technical and people perspective
Strong knowledge of SAP modules, business processes, and the wider SAP solution ecosystem
Several years of hands-on experience in SAP consulting and implementation
Demonstrated project management capabilities, including experience with SAP implementations and rollouts
Fluent in German and English
