To strengthen our team, we are looking for you as Regional Director of Finance International (m/f/d).

As Regional Director of Finance International (m/f/d) your tasks include

  • Leading and overseeing finance and business support activities in the assigned region (Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Romania, Spain and The Netherlands) to enhance profitability
  • Leading a highly qualified team of international finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and high performance through targeted coaching and mentoring
  • Developing, implementing and monitoring financial strategies through clear KPI measurements and targets to support business growth
  • Preparing and monitoring budgets, forecasts, financial plans and regularly reporting progress to senior management
  • Assume accountability for the timeliness, accuracy and value of all financial information used for decision making. Deliver insight to support decision making through the provision of targeted, relevant and concise management information
  • Support divisional growth by advising on market trends and demographics within area geographies, provide relevant forecasts and budgets to assist in the preparation of feasibility papers, and assist with additional ad-hoc analysis and advice as required
  • Maintain a sound internal control environment across the regions, ensuring all key financial risks are appropriately managed
  • Liaise with internal auditors, and ensure any audit findings are promptly actioned
  • Champion improved focus on Control Self-Assessment (CSA), progressively eliminating error rates through robust assessment and education.
  • Disseminate and enforce key corporate policies throughout area, particularly hotel accounting manual, delegation of authority, code of ethics
  • Ensure that HRG fulfils its responsibilities with respect to the provision of full and accurate information to regulatory authorities, external auditors (HRG and owners)
  • Closely monitor and manage hotel and HRG receivables, ensuring that balances are current and appropriate action taken with respect to delinquent balances
  • Training and developing the regional finance team

Your profile with which you inspire us

  • Educated to degree level with a professional business/accountancy qualification in a leadership position with responsibility for a cluster or region
  • Deep understanding and experience in financial responsibility and strategic budgeting
  • Excellent ability to develop and implement strategies that support and drive company goals
  • Outstanding leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and lead teams to establish a performance-driven culture
  • Strong analytical skills to make data-driven decisions and optimize processes
  • High resilience and willingness to travel within Europe
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken

Ideally already experience as Regional Director of Finance International (m/f/d).
