We're partnering with an established financial technology company operating within the banking sector that's expanding its development teams in Frankfurt. You'll work on business-critical products across cards and payments, developing technology used within modern financial services environments.
Tasks
You'll join one of several product teams, working closely with Team Leads and Project Managers on the continued development of banking, card and payment products.
- Build and continuously develop PHP-based financial applications
- Deliver new functionality across banking, cards and payments
- Take ownership of technical projects directly from experienced Team Leads
- Collaborate with Project Managers on new product initiatives
- Contribute ideas to technical and product improvements
- Use AI tools to accelerate development and problem-solving
- Take on increasing responsibility as you demonstrate your capabilities
- Work in a dynamic product environment where initiative is rewarded
Profile
What We're Looking For:
- Hands-on commercial PHP development experience
- Previous experience delivering real software projects
- University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a comparable technical discipline
- Strong academic record – approximately German grade 2.5 or better
- Interest or practical experience with AI development tools
- Curious, proactive and motivated to take on new challenges
- German at C1 level or above – mandatory
- Currently based in Frankfurt or willing to relocate to the Frankfurt area
- Comfortable working from the office 3 days per week
