
Payroll Specialist (m/f/d) - 6510
About us
Our client, an innovative and dynamic bio-pharmaceutical company headquartered in Switzerland, covering multiple therapeutic areas, committed into delivering products on the market over the next 5 years, is looking for a Payroll Specialist for a contract role until the end of 2025 (with possible extension or permanent role) based in Basel, Switzerland.
Tasks
Administer the Payroll (data collection, data changes, entering new employee’s data, checking payroll data)
Ensure payrolls are processed accurately, on time and in accordance with all federal, state, local and regulatory requirements
Run the monthly payroll and process all the necessary work related to the monthly payroll
Processing of salary continuation cases (Illness, Accident, Maternity Leave, etc.)
Handle child and education allowances
Assists in ensuring any regular finance, compliance and audit reporting as per agreed timescales.
Assist with audits and reconciliations of payroll data as required.
Other Payroll related activities as required
Profile
Relevant Swiss working/residency permit and/or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required.
Bachelors in HR/Accounting degree or Diploma in payroll is preferred
Min of 3 years’ experience in similar role (Payroll, Accounting etc.)
In depth knowledge of the Swiss Social Insurance System
Computer and software advanced user, SAP payroll experience is an advantage
Fluency in German&English
