About us
We represent a client who are looking to hire a successful candidate, who will join a team that pushes the limits of physics in measurement technology. The organization utilizes fiber optic cables as sensors, developing advanced measuring devices and software that accurately determine temperatures and acoustic signals along the fiber with meter precision.
Tasks
- Architecting and implementing a secure, cloud-native, multi-tenant asset monitoring platform for distributed fiber optic sensing systems.
- Building resilient, secure, and observable data models, platform components, interfaces, and APIs.
- Advancing the application platform architecture to handle specialized applications like fire detection, power grids, and critical infrastructure monitoring.
- Engaging proactively with application teams to understand specific domain requirements and technical needs.
- Guiding the decision-making process by creating concepts, proposing effective solutions, and providing expert technical oversight.
Profile
- Degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of eight years as a .NET developer, including five years designing, building, and operating production-grade distributed systems, preferably in IIoT or sensor-based environments.
- Exceptional proficiency in C# and modern .NET with a focus on writing high-quality, maintainable code; knowledge of additional programming languages is advantageous.
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and messaging protocols like NATS, MQTT, or Kafka, with a bonus for familiarity with event-driven architectures and distributed stream processing.
- Solid understanding of web and mobile technologies, protocols, frameworks (especially Angular), and database persistence solutions.
- Deep knowledge of common software design patterns, architectural best practices, and secure API design.
- Proactive, hands-on professional with a strong drive to create and innovate.
- Fluency in both German and English at a C1 proficiency level.
- Willingness to maintain a hybrid schedule with a 50% on-site presence at the headquarters.
