JOB DESCRIPTION
Our Accounting team is looking for your support. Joining our team means gaining access to the ins and outs of the entire transportation industry. Together with our brands, we have the collective power to change the future of transportation.
- Support in the planning and the preparation of the monthly consolidated financial statements of TRATON GROUP with almost 350 consolidated entities
- Collaborate with our brands Scania, MAN, International and Volkswagen Truck & Bus, and our parent company Volkswagen AG, in all group accounting and consolidation matters
- Act as group-wide topic matter expert for various areas of our Balance sheet, Income statement and Notes disclosures, and perform monthly analyses of our group financial statements
- Prepare the Quarterly and Annual Reports for TRATON GROUP and collaborate closely with our colleagues from Accounting Standards, Controlling, Treasury, Investor Relations, among others
- Participate in group wide accounting projects, e.g. roll-out of a new consolidation system
Anforderungen an die Qualifikation
- Successful university degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration (focus on international accounting/group accounting)
- First professional experience in Audit company is a plus
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment with competing priorities and with a high impact at all levels within the company
- Structured mode of working as well as strong analytical and conceptual skills with an ability to turn data into actionable insights
- Flexibility and a passion for working in a fast-changing environment
- Proactive mindset with a passion to build from scratch and drive continuous improvement
- Very good knowledge of German and English in spoken and writte
