As General Manager (m/w/d) your tasks include:
This is an outstanding opportunity for a highly skilled hospitality leader with a proven track record in managing luxury resorts or lifestyle hotels to oversee all aspects of this renowned property and drive its continued success.
- Develop and execute a strategy to establish the resort as a premier lifestyle destination for both domestic and international markets
- Lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, high-profile guests, and the local community
- Represent the property at industry events and forums to enhance its reputation and expand its network
- Oversee daily operations across all departments, including rooms, dining, spa, and events, ensuring exceptional service and quality
- Implement efficient systems and processes to enhance consistency, quality, and innovation
- Maintain the property to the highest standards, ensuring it reflects the expectations of luxury hospitality
- Monitor guest satisfaction metrics and implement strategies to consistently exceed expectations
- Lead strategic projects such as guestroom expansions and facility upgrades, ensuring high standards and timely delivery
- Drive revenue growth across all streams, including accommodation, dining, spa services, and events, with a strong focus on profitability
- Work closely with marketing teams to attract and retain key customer segments, including luxury travellers and corporate clients
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, ensuring all targets are met or exceeded
- Foster a guest-focused culture, prioritizing personalization, attention to detail, and seamless service delivery
- Engage directly with guests to ensure their experiences are exceptional and memorable
- Introduce innovative services and offerings tailored to the lifestyle and luxury market
- Oversee the planning and execution of high-profile events, including weddings, corporate retreats, and celebrations
- Collaborate with the events team to design unique packages that elevate the property’s reputation as a premier event destination
Your profile with which you inspire us
- A minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in luxury resorts, lifestyle hotels, or similar high-profile properties, with at least 5 years as a General Manager
- A degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field is required
- Proven success in managing multi-revenue stream operations, including F&B, spa, and event spaces
- In-depth knowledge of the luxury hospitality market, including guest expectations and industry trends
- A strong track record in driving business growth and achieving exceptional financial results
- Dynamic leadership with exceptional people management and motivational skills
- Visionary thinker with the ability to execute strategies effectively
- Strong financial acumen, with the ability to analyse data and make informed decisions
- Outstanding organizational and planning skills, balancing strategic goals with operational demands
- Very good knowledge of Spanish and English is required; other languages are an advantage
- An engaging communicator with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders, guests, and team members
- Passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences
