Freelance Senior Project Manager – Dutch Healthcare Sector (m/f/d)

About the project

I am currently seeking a Senior Project Manager (m/f/d) for one of my clients in the healthcare sector, to lead key governmental initiatives within the Dutch healthcare domain.

Here are the key details:

- Position: Senior Project Manager (m/f/d)

- Start date: Mid-August 2026 (latest by September 1st, 2026)

- Workload: Full-time

- Duration: 31.12.2026 (with possible Extension)

- Location: Hybrid - 3 days/week onsite in netherlands, 2 days remote

- Language: Fluent in Dutch

- Hourly rate: max.60 Euro

Responsibilities

• End-to-end management of governmental healthcare projects: MP9 (medication exchange between GPs & pharmacies) and VIPP Farmacie (medication monitoring by pharmacies)
• Act as the primary interface to Dutch governmental bodies, healthcare providers, and program stakeholders
• Ensure timely delivery and compliance with national healthcare regulations

Requirements

• 8-10+ years of proven Senior Project Management experience, ideally within the ambulatory healthcare sector or public/governmental domain
• Strong knowledge of NL healthcare regulations and standards
• Hands-on expertise with General Practitioner (GP) or Pharmacy Information Systems (AIS / PHIS) is strongly preferred
• Native or fluent (C2) Dutch is strictly required to effectively interface with Dutch authorities and stakeholders. English proficiency is a plus
