Your tasks
You will be part of a growing team dedicated to the energy transition in Europe, including Germanspeaking countries and the EU. In the following tasks you will support the team, a.o.:
- Analyze European and national energy and infrastructure policies (e.g., for the European Commission, DG ENER, EIB or CINEA) and be part of larger national or international consulting projects.
- Get connected to partners and customers. Lead projects or parts thereof in the EU-services team with a focus on energy and infrastructure (incl. hydrogen, renewable energies and climate policy).
- Develop your personal focus areas and work together with all colleagues, especially the Energy team, and learn how to make studies the Prognos way.
Your profile
- You hold a graduate degree in economics, public policy, industrial engineering, or related disciplines and have gained relevant work experience in policy consulting/research.
- You have studied or worked in energy, climate policy and economics.
- You have built up a first network among clients (European Commission is a plus) and collaborators in the above-mentioned consulting fields.
- You are open to exploring and developing new fields of expertise.
- You have excellent verbal and written skills in English and are also proficient in spoken and written German. Any additional language is a plus.
- We are looking for a team player with a positive work ethic and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
