Tasks & Challenges
- Prepare and cook meals for hotel staff according to the planned menu
- Plan and organize daily food production including portion control and timely service during designated meal periods
- Supporting the Canteen Supervisor and Chef de Parties (main kitchen)
- Working according to HACCP
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs
- From time to time preparing food for the main kitchen
Qualifications & Competences
- Completed vocational training as a chef in the gastronomy / hotel industry
- First experience in a comparable position in the hotel / catering industry
- Attention to detail, creativity and reliability
- Ability to work under pressure, flexibility and enthusiasm
- Good knowledge of English, any other foreign language would be an advantage
- Service oriented
- Ability to work in a structured and organized manner
- Positive attitude
- Team player
