We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Cluster MICE Sales Manager to join our team The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) sector, with a passion for driving sales and enhancing customer experiences across multiple properties within our hotel chain.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy Development: - Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve MICE revenue targets for the cluster of hotels. - Identify market trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape to adapt strategies accordingly.
2. Client Relationship Management: - Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and agencies. - Conduct regular meetings and follow-ups to understand client needs and ensure satisfaction.
3. Event Coordination: - Collaborate with hotel operations teams to ensure seamless execution of events and conferences. - Oversee all aspects of MICE events, including planning, budgeting, and post-event analysis.
4. Sales Performance Analysis: - Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to management. - Adjust sales tactics based on performance data and feedback.
5. Marketing Collaboration: - Work closely with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns targeting MICE clients. - Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to promote the hotel chain’s MICE offerings.
6. Team Leadership: - Mentor and train sales team members to enhance their skills and performance in MICE sales. - Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the sales team.
7. Budget Management: - Manage and optimize the MICE sales budget to ensure profitability. - Track expenses and analyze return on investment for MICE initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in MICE sales and team managment of 2 minimum within the hotel industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Strong understanding of the German MICE market and industry trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Lanyon, Cvent).
- Fluent in German and English; additional languages are a plus.
