Position Summary: As the Chief Financial Officer with a focus on Hotel Operations, the CFO will play a crucial role in shaping the financial strategy and performance of all hotels and will lead the financial planning, analysis, and reporting efforts while collaborating closely with department heads to optimize revenue, control costs, and enhance profitability.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for you: 1.4.2025 as Chief Financial Officer (m/w/d).
As Chief Financial Officer (m/w/d) your tasks include:
- Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the overall business objectives of the hotel, considering market trends, industry benchmarks, and growth opportunities.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, providing insightful analysis and recommendations to guide operational decisions. Monitor financial performance against targets and develop action plans as needed.
- Collaborate with operational teams to identify opportunities for revenue enhancement and cost containment. Implement and monitor financial controls to ensure efficient resource allocation and risk mitigation.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for various hotel functions and departments. Regularly track, analyze, and report on these metrics to measure performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, statements, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. Communicate financial insights and recommendations to the executive team.
- Oversee capital expenditure planning and investment decisions, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and financial feasibility.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and industry standards. Identify and mitigate financial risks through effective controls and proactive measures.
- Oversee the hotel's payroll processes, ensuring accurate and compliant payroll administration. Coordinate with HR to address compensation and benefits matters.
- Implement cost controlling measures across various departments to optimize expenses and ensure financial targets are met.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. Set clear expectations, provide guidance, and evaluate performance.
Your profile with which you inspire us:
Several years of professional experience in consulting or in a large company with a focus on redesign, optimization and digitalization in the financial process landscape
Comprehensive experience in the area of strategic organizational and process consulting
Several years of experience in a commercial management position, ideally in the hotel industry or a comparable industry
Experience in developing professional reporting, liquidity management, calculation and controlling systems
- Fluent German and English skills
Flexibility in everyday consulting work and willingness to travel
Idealerweise bereits Erfahrungen als Chief Financial Officer (m/w/d).
