Main tasks
- Develop and create new desserts, pastries and confectionery using seasonal and local produ
- Working closely and communicating well with the Executive Chef
- Compliance with HACCP standards
- Compliance with safety standards
- Educating and training employees according to a training plan, carrying out tastings for all employees
- Conducting trial period meetings and annual quality meetings with all patisserie staff with the support of the Executive Chef
- Setting the pace in the kitchen as well as daily business expectations and special events
Your profile
- Training as a chef or pastry chef with at least five years of professional experience in the same or a similar position in high-end gastronomy
- Excellent knowledge of Swiss, French and Italian patisserie/confectionery.
- Flexibility regarding working hours
- Good language skills in English, oral and written; other languages (especially German) an advantage
- Good leadership skills
- Exceptional ability to deal with hectic situations while maintaining a professional approach at all times
