Automation Software Integration Architect (f/m/d)

on the software-supported automation of cash center solutions for our global customers and use your know-how to contribute to the further technological development of our highly automated customer systems. Draw from our internal portfolio and external technical concepts to standardize solutions.

Your tasks:

• You will be responsible for developing an integration architecture for the WMS / WCS / field automation levels to automate cash center solutions from our internal portfolio and from third-party providers
• You are in charge of creating drafts with internal and external stakeholders
• You will lead teams of internal and external stakeholders through all project phases, from strategy development to integration testing and customer handover
• You are responsible for consistent communication and reporting on all internal and external levels as well as preparing a risk analysis based on the current project progress

Your profile:

• You have a degree in computer science or mechatronics
• You bring with you a distinct knowledge of warehouse control systems and warehouse management systems, in detail this means:
• Ability to assess the pros and cons of various integration architecture options
• Advanced knowledge of interface technologies common in warehouse automation layer (e.g. socket-based, XML-based, FTP-based communication and others)
• Advanced knowledge of PLC integration based on Siemens S7 including specialist knowledge of ProfiNet, ProfiBus and their requirements
• Excellent analytical skills and a high level of customer orientation, stress resistance and intercultural skills complete your profile
• You speak English fluently, both written and spoken, and are willing to travel worldwide in connection with project assignments (max. 30 %)
